As a Senior Systems Engineer / Tier 3 Technician, you'll:<ul><li>Be the final escalation point -- solving the toughest technical challenges with confidence.</li><li>Lead infrastructure and cloud initiatives, and drive improvements that matter.</li><li>Mentor and elevate our Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams.</li><li>Partner directly with clients to design scalable, secure systems.</li><li>Be trusted to make real technical decisions and communicate them clearly -- geek and human-friendly.</li></ul><h3>What You'll Do Day-to-Day</h3> <ul><li>Troubleshoot advanced server, network, and cloud issues.</li><li>Take ownership of major incidents -- from response to prevention.</li><li>Lead and implement projects: server migrations, Microsoft 365 transformations, firewall deployments, and more.</li><li>Support modern infrastructure stacks: Windows Server, Entra ID, VMware/Hyper-V, and security platforms.</li><li>Use and improve MSP automation tooling (PSA/RMM) and develop scripts for efficiency.</li><li>Help elevate the technical maturity of our entire service team.</li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3> <ul><li>Strong troubleshooting instincts and independence.</li><li>Clear communicator who can "speak Geek and Human."</li><li>Deep experience in Windows Server, M365/Entra ID, virtualization, and networking fundamentals.</li><li>Security-first mindset with comfort in client-facing engagements.</li><li>Experience with firewall platforms, VPNs, endpoint security, and MSP tooling.</li></ul>Nice-to-have certifications (but not required): CompTIA Network+ / Security+, Microsoft Azure/M365 certs, CCNA, ITIL 4. Service Desk Technician Tier 3 / Systems Engineer (MSP)

Work the ticket as far as possible, document findings, and escalate only if it exceeds my scope

Escalate the ticket as soon as it becomes complex to avoid delays

Pause work and wait for guidance before proceeding

Reassign the ticket if it is taking longer than expected
